FULL MEMBER DIVER TRAINING
FF14

Our training covers INSHORE/INLAND
surface support diving to 50 meters on air and mixed gas (NITROX) within the 12 mile zone (HSE recognition 1998) and wetbell diving  operations. It starts in september and finishes in august. Requirements for access are the minimum age of 18 and a medical certificate delivered by an approved doctor in hyperbaric medicine for vocational training. The following subjects are addressed: safety procedures for diving operations, diving in harbours, locks and docks, canals, pipes and  tunnels, sewerplants and systems, nuclear powerplants, foundations, salvage and ship maintenance, underwater construction and demolition, inspection, cutting, welding, blasting,  muddive... Training goes from the HD constant volume (standard dress) with CV hoods and free-flow diving helmets (AQUADYNE, DIVE DYNAMICS), to the more common variable volume  suits with all types of band masks (KMB's, EXO's, AGA's). All exercises are assessed by a theoretical and practical examination. These are supervised by an external jury and  according to objective rules. The aim of this training is to match safety with productivity.
